APRIL 2026 NEWSLETTER

Howdy Houston Aggie Moms!

April marks National Volunteer Month, and I want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your membership and generous support, both with your time and contributions.

We recently celebrated our biggest fundraiser of the year, A Night of Maroon and Magic, where nearly 200 people gathered to connect, celebrate, and raise funds for Texas A&M students. Although technical difficulties prevented us from hearing the scholarship recipients’ testimonies at the gala, Tara Wray’s rendition captured their spirit, and the video of the real testimonies is now available below for you to watch. The magician truly delighted us all, adding a sense of wonder to the evening. I am deeply appreciative of everyone who contributed to making this event so meaningful and successful. Special thanks go to Vivian Yeh, Laura Fertak, and Tara Wray for their dedication and hard work, which made this the best gala, auction & party we’ve ever had!

Thanks and Gig 'Em,
Cyndi Ruiz-Mansfield

Help Us Meet Our Fundraising Goal!

We came very close to our fundraising goal for our "Night of Maroon & Magic" Gala. Very close! We will present the results at our General Meeting this month.

But if you weren't able to participate and help us raise some money, please consider a straight donation to raise a few more dollars for scholarships! Any donation amount helps! It is a tax deductible donation & your generous support makes a meaningful difference for Aggie students who truly deserve it. So, hit that "Donate Today" button.

Don't forget! If your company will match donations, this can multiply our impact! Please contact president@houstonaggiemoms.org if you need any help with matching funds forms.

Thank you in advance for helping empower Aggies educational journeys and open new opportunities for them.
